I agree with @Fractal. If you’re very likely to get the phone (3), and are sure you need to buy a phone now, save your money and go for a CMF Phone 1 (assuming you can live without NFC, glyphs and a good camera).

Some people don’t need high-end phones. I certainly don’t. I’m still using an OG Nord, which was a mid-range phone 4yrs ago, yet still does what I need it to, i.e. make and receive phone calls, browse the internet and YouTube, receive emails. I’ve looked at the Nord 4, and besides much faster charging (100 Watts, as apposed to 30W), I’m not convinced it’s worth me shelling out.

nord 4 is a pretty looking cashgrab

7+ gen 3 is a disaster when it comes to sustained perf, stability, efficiency and thermals

I’ll give my opinion, nothing is becoming like xiami launching phones without any meaning.

First resolve the bugs in the products you have, that’s what it would be like for a company that’s just starting out.

It wont make sense right away but gsma explains the numbers and figures in easy to understand words. Just remember that no review site is 100% unbiased.

Limit the product portfolio to Flagship/Mid-Range/Budget only.

Don’t push too many variants like other brands.

You can build a complete Ecosystem of Mobile/TWS/SmartWatch/Tablet/etc

Surface Area

You should not be under the misconception that promoting too many devices is a skill. This will only negatively affect the perception of the brand in people’s minds.

Just like Xiaomi and BBK groups…

I think 2a plus will come with a better processor and wireless charging which was required in 2a as well. If such things come up then co. Should have launched 2a plus together with 2a so buyer would have an option to buy. But now who has bought 2a are mere a part of experiment at buyers money for future improved nothing phones. Also the UI in nothing phone 2a is jittery & gets stuck sometimes I am facing alot of issues and dynamic refresh rate doesn’t feels smooth. Kindly improve with updates.

Rob ⚡️ With the growing competition in this segment, i would like to see - 1) Faster UFS 3.1 storage 2) A better camera sensor (Preferably, Sony LYT 700 or similar) 3) Support High speed charging ( at least 68 Watt) 4) Support for more 5G bands (universal - support US 5 bands like Band 2, 5, 41, 71, ) like they have in Nothing 2 phone 4) Bundle the charger in the box

Also, Nothing should remove/get rid the requirement of having a valid SIM while setting up the phone. That is a meaningless step in my opinion

If Nothing can incorporate these then it would be a clear leader in this segment beating the likes of Moto Edge 50 Fusion & Nord CE4
