Am I the only one who feels like nothing phone 1 is Getting late updates and phone 2 as well all focus is on 2a

Issues with phone 1

  1. Camera not good before it was good
  2. Battery backup very poor
  3. So much idle drain
  4. Lag in ui and animation sometimes it feels you are using a cheap phone
  5. Heating somethimes in normal use also

Anyone from Nothing if you are seeing this plz fix all the issue listed and others also if exists

On Android 13 nothing phone 1 was champ in every aspect but Android 14 made it worse is there any way to downgrade software without bootloader and root I want to downgrade to Android 13 if there is do tell me

    SamarthNP1 I donā€™t know if the previous updates came that often but the 2.6 was on July I think, I think that they focused on the newer products as the 2a and the new 2a plus. I agree with you, android 13 was an incredible experience to use, I wish I could rollback the update to android 13

        DavidAbu_n the new update for nothing phone 1 is out and it only has bug fixes and some unwanted ā€œnew featuresā€. As usual, no camera update. Way to go!

            It is 2.6 with some string attached to it. You can consider it 2.6 (part 2). Only good thing about it is the September patch.

            Wolverine they didnā€™t provide charge assistance which is the most useful feature in which we can limit the charge % to 70 80 or 90% it is available in phone 2a but not in phone 1 i dont know about phone 2 but that is most useful feature which I was hoping to get in this update but unfortunately nothing didnā€™t provide it in phone 1

                SamarthNP1 Itā€™s not available on phone 2 either itā€™s only available on CMF phone ā€¦. i guess we will have to wait patiently and see if it will be implemented on the remaining Nothing Phones in the upcoming updates.

                    Nothing001 it is present in phone 2a as well and cmf phone not in nothingā€™s flagship phone 2 and first phone nothing phone 1

                      Yo new Update sucks, got a system ui Crash and battery drain is really high nowā€¦

                      Maybe itā€™s late for this but Iā€™ve noticed serious frame drops while watching YouTube in 1440/2160p, maybe is dumb watching it at that resolution, but I thing is worth to mention.

                        DavidAbu_n Nothing Phone (1) screen is 1080P, so itā€™s not expected to support anything above that

                            I play 2160p (4K) on YouTube on Phone (1) without any problem. Maybe your internet is bad and canā€™t process 4K picture. I have wifi 6 at home whit 600mb/s download and 60 upload internet speed. 4K on social medias is never be a issue for me.

                              Firmware (bot) after the update, my battery is draining much faster and today it turned off out of nowhere, something that had never happened before.

                                The overall performance still very jittery and stuttery in terms of animations, making the experience very unpleasant to use, I hope this will get fixed in the nothing OS 3.0 Update

                                After android 14 update my microphone is not working during calls only on Speaker mode.. Every possible fix provided by the support is done even the factory reset didnā€™t help šŸ˜ƒ on save mode microphone is working perfectly. Pure software bugā€¦ Any ideas??
