The beep after each scroll in the earbuds case needs to stop it’s irritating, distracting and make the earphones feel cheap. The volume increase in the buds are enough feedback. The beeps are unnecessary.

    Hi everyone.

    I’m really happy with my Buds Pro 2 except for one thing. The volume beep.

    I’m sure it’s useful to some people but not only do I not need it (my phone doesn’t need to beep when I adjust the volume) and it interrupts the listening experience.

    Is there any way to turn off the beep? If not now, is an update coming?

    Too much feedback. Glyph+ actual volume up/down+ beep to indicate volume up or down + feedback from the knob itself.

    I fully agree, that volume increase/decrease beep is definitely annoying, too loud, as well as useless. At least you should be given the option to disable it. Is this expected in future firmware releases?

    I like how the volume increase/decrease happens without any delay. But the damn beep always comes in with a delay, which ruins the experience of using the knob imo.

    I picked up my Buds Pro 2 a few weeks ago from the Soho store in London. I couldn’t believe how bad the feedback beep was when changing volume level, it is actually painful at the higher volume levels. I can’t understand how this was ‘designed’ and surely must be a mistake. I have contacted support who have been close to useless, it’s almost as if they either aren’t reading the email properly or don’t care. Either way, they are of no actual assistance. Very disappointed, the buds themselves are ok (too bass heavy), but not including an option in the settings to disable the volume beep is a huge oversight. I hope they address this in a firmware update.

    After recent update, it seems that When I use knob for Volume Increase/Decrease it’s not actually affecting the volume slider in my Phone’s volume control. So Now for specific volume level in my device,I am able to change the volume using Knob and it doesn’t show effect in phone’s volume control. This seems like a bug.

    Please remove this beep in the next firmware.

    The knob is a killer feature but it’s wasted by this.

    I dont use the wheel or case because of the sound. The volume up/down is the most obnoxious but all the sounds for each function are pretty bad in general. They all sound the same and there isn’t any tonal shift indicating a increase or decrease.

    The case wheel is about as unuseful as turning Dual connection mode on. I’d trade it in a heartbeat 💓 just to be able to power off the earbuds manually without the case and similarly power them up and pair without the case.
    Having the case’s controls set and running increases battery drain by 70% so if you actually intend to “listen” your going play with it for like 20 mins then never use it again.

      It is absurdly loud. Please, let us have the option to mute it or turn it down.
