I use the phone most often in places where WLAN is distributed by multiple AP’s. Also the WDS tries to enforce 5Ghz WLAN over 2,4 by deauthing clients on 2,4Ghz once. This is pretty much the standard in larger WLAN deployments because its the only way for the WDS to encourage devices to use 5Ghz WLAN to keep 2,4 operational for devices that don’t support 5Ghz.
Sadly Nothing OS just switches to mobile data and rapidly eats away the contingent even if there is perfect WLAN coverage.
Also the roaming behavior between AP’s on a network is very poor to not happening.
And prioritizing unmetered networks over metered networks also does not work for me. Even if a unmetered SSID is supplied from the same AP, the phone sticks to the metered SSID once connected.
There is definitly room for improvement.
This is observed with Nothing OS 2.6
