2.6 update continues with the atmosphere wallpaper affect disappears whenever it locks it self

Firmware (bot) Apparently there’s this new bug in Phone (2a)'s camera. HDR only toggles between Off/Auto. It doesn’t switch to “ON” mode.

I’m getting worse battery life around 3-4 hours.

I bought the phone specifically for battery and it had problem with that even my old phone has better battery life

DineshJoshi I don’t have any major problems at the moment. Currently 4 SC and still 40% battery.

is Nothing already aware of extremely low 4G speed on Nothing Phone 2a?

Yesterday my Nothing Phone 2a (Japan) arrived and as soon as I switched from my home wifi (speed is ok) to 4G mobile data, I can barely browse any website. Fast.com and Cloudflare speedtest shows an average of 200 Kbps, both download and upload. I checked my APN settings and they are ok. the same SIM on my old phone can easily achieve ~60Mps Down/Up, so I don’t think it is my 4G coverage.

I am using the latest Nothing OS 2.6. I already sent a feedback under the System menu but don’t know if there are other ways to get Nothing attention.

Update on my issue

I contacted my mobile provider and there was an issue with my data plan and low speed applied.

What a timing, the same day I receive my new phone and I ,of course, think it is the phone..when is not. I don’t have any other issues so far and I am happy.

Firmware (bot) facing battery drain issue. 90% of battery is used by wifi.

Facing this issue after 2.6 update

1. I disabled the battery usage for many apps
2. Using the mobile (nothing 2a) in battery saver mode still facing the battery drain issue
3. I turn off wifi and mobile network still facing the issue

Firmware (bot) I notice that the green tine issue only on lockscreen. When you pull down the notification bar you can see green tine issue on lockscreen but when you unlock the device and pull down the notification bar you can see the green tine issue gone so it can be fixed by software update. Because it is hardware issue then it’s showing all the time .

Please fix this in next update

The news widget should be changed from country to country like when I try to hear the news it tells me news about the US elections and one more thing it don’t refresh even after 30 minutes.

So if I have to give a suggestion then I would say :

1. change/provide news from country to country
2. and news should be refreshed every 25-30 minutes

1. I’ve been noticing a bug where if you scroll down notification panel from left..sometimes it doesn’t work pretty well
2. The chatgpt voice widget is not working at all. In Phone 2(a)..
3. For an example..if I watch youtube in portrait for 2 to 3 hours, and then just turn on dark mode, type of screen burn is visible, which gets disappeared if I dont touch my device for 1 to 2 hours…that’s weird for sure.
4. Phone 2(a) supports 45W charging but still my unit charges at 30 to 35W, here I’m using CMF 65W GaN Wall Adaptor..and I’ve got no other devices connected to that adaptor. Once again.. that’s weird.
5. This is not a bug..but I had a question in my mind ever since this device was launched. Nothing provided free 1 year subscription in Perplexity AI..but they went on to integrate ChatGpt on their devices..and not even a single offer for that…you could have given just a 10% discount..and I wouldn’t have complaints.
6. A suggestion coming through: please add media player widget to the loch screen widgets section..many would find them interesting.
