Weather Widget Sync Issue on CMF Watch Pro 2

My recent experience with the CMF Watch Pro 2, specifically regarding the weather widget functionality.

I have observed that the weather widget does not automatically display the current weather conditions. In order to sync the weather information, it is necessary to open both the CMF Watch app on my phone and the Weather app on the watch simultaneously. This requirement negates the convenience of having a weather app on the watch, as it necessitates the use of my phone each time I wish to check the weather.

The primary purpose of a weather app on a smartwatch is to provide quick and easy access to current weather conditions directly from the wrist, without the need for additional devices. The current functionality of the weather widget undermines this purpose and diminishes the user experience.

I kindly request that this issue be addressed in future updates to ensure that the weather widget can automatically sync and display up-to-date weather information without requiring the phone to be used simultaneously.

Have you checked if either the weather app or CMF Watch has background authorizations ? Your watch won’t probably synchronize if you don’t give the app permissions to always check weather and communicate with the watch

The same on my watch 2 - sync does not work. the phone shows that the connection to the watch Is ok, the watch also says there is no problem. And yet the weather does not update in the background.

Same issue in my CMF watch pro 2. After opening the app, it started to sync automatically. Not sure how long it will sync

Same issue with my watch pro 2 (With Iphone). I’ve had the watch for 3 days now, try everything, but it doesn’t work once. Every permissions are checked. Try to disconnect, reconnect, restart, but it doesn’t word.

I found that the Weather app on my CMF Watch Pro 2 does not update data over time. The only way to update the temperature value, etc. is to launch the Weather app at the moment when the CMF Watch app is active on the smartphone screen. Until then, the watch continues to show the temperature obtained during the last synchronization.

Is this how it is intended?
