I’m really disappointed that my new 2a is outdated right now. Not a good move to release new versions twice a year.

I just became a Nothing fan and now I’m really disappointed. Will Nothing really become a company having high phone model output instead of products in clear categories and a clear vision?

sean (1) Okay, the engineer in me is telling me this is a matter of two different people posting. One used 2 decimal points, the other was lazy and used one. lol

Thanks, I’m sure the cases are compatible now.

Am not able to find the news widget in my phone 2a. How to add that?

sumitm I don’t have it on my Nothing Phone 2 either. We have to wait for the Nothing Widget app to update.

I think, MTK made an offer to be the first company that could get the 7350 chip and nothing could not refuse it.

A good starting place is to compare specs at GSMArena.com. There are already reviews of the (2a) Plus elsewhere on the world wide web.

Neither the phone (2) or (2a) suit my needs, but the (2a) Plus does and at a good price. Essentially, if you can live without wireless charging go for the (2a) Plus (subject to regional pricing), but the choice is yours.

“It can deliver up to two days of use on a full charge and retains over 90% of its full capacity, even after 1,000 charging cycles”

This was said for 2a and I am charging it twice a day

Ealesy101 the last drop was the special edition and that wasn’t too popular if I remember the recap on here correctly.

I’m currently using phone 1 and still undecided whether to get this new one or wait for phone 3. Will there be any special promotion for the drop? India seems to get quite a discount for the launch.

If you can wait and accept that the phone 3 will be a lot more expensive than the (2a) Plus then I would go for that. No doubt it will be a better phone, and for the long term.

SHq i updated too but not able to find it

I was excited to see an update in the Play Store this morning to the Nothing Widgets app.

The News Reporter widget (beta) is now available! A nice bit of whimsy that makes this platform an interesting and fun place. This is from the release notes:

🤖 Introducing the News Reporter widget. Choose your favourite news genres and listen to the daily news read out to you by none other than Tim, our beloved CFO. Please note: This feature is still in beta and relies on various generative AI models, which may sometimes behave unexpectedly.

Working great on my 2a. Great job, Nothing!

Merged 1 post from News Reporter widget now available.

How about having a nothing phone that’s about 6-inches. Smaller flagship killer phone. I think there must be a good sell, if it release as a limited edition kind of.

Anyone go to the London store at the weekend to see the (2a) Plus?
