Rudi This Community has that sweet Christmas Eve feeling floating around, hah, but please do take all the time you need. We trust you and all the wait is going to be worth it.
In the grand scheme of things, these steps are just the centimeters in a globetrotting journey.
I do love your approach to the weight a Community should have. More than eroding any barriers between fans and the brand, from the get go I can feel you preventing them to be edified.
One suggestion I have, riffing off this thread, is for the forums to have a place where members, veterans and newcomers, can check the different roles and what each of them entails.
From the people who have access to the “Visitors Breakout Room” to the Administrators. That can also be a good way of nudging them when they want to tag or contact other members about a specific problem or subject.
Rob Completely agree with you. I see a Community as a melting pot of talent. A member can write, another is incredible with design, another has an outstanding technical knowledge, etc. With all of them combined, you can create and maintain an everlasting flow of content sponsoring engagement.
Underlying all that, however, is an extraordinary group of people willing to give this place their best. Nothing is lucky to have assembled a set of individuals that make this start so auspicious; we are lucky for that commitment and, personally, for being flanked by such camaraderie, kindness, and sheer brilliance.
