I would like to address camera performance need to improve, its shows skin reddish, and low light performance need to improve, on zoom picture get blurry

I’ve been using my CMF1 as I’m working on scaffold outside and painting my house. The APR 2025 3.0 update really fixed the camera and even at 2x this this is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So much better than when new or before the APR update.

Just saying that NOTHING does update cameras post-release. World of difference. A bird pooped on my new white paint sadly and I had to capture the irony.

CMF1_hacker yup..but it still missing some details… but nothing team did great work … if you casually taking pics… Its good ..i suggest you to try lmc 8.4… you will be shocked by how good cmf 1 hardware is…

Have you noticed both encoding options in camera results same file size?
Because changing the Encoder’s Codec doesn’t change the Encoder’s Bitrate, therefore recording with H265 doesn’t give the stated benefit: Better storage efficiency.
4K H264(AVC) uses 50Mbps
4k H265(HEVC) uses 50Mbps
The 1080p (30fps) uses ~17Mb for both codecs as well

I think H265 could do just fine with 37Mbps and 13Mbps for 4K and FullHD respectively without any noticeable loss in quality. (producing 25% smaller files)
For comparison, some phones are doing 30Mbps 4K.

Is this model specific issue (only cmf 1) or camera app issue? (existing on other nothing phones)

Camera quality was good when CMF Phone 1 was out of the box after purchase. But, quality of the camera is decreasing with every update. Why is update required when it is not improving the quality?
