Lifetime Apple User to Nothing Phone

Either way I look at it, since smart phones have been around and I was able to get my first one (iPhone 3), I have been an iPhone owner. I always keep my ear to the ground for new and groundbreaking tech and off the beaten path products that don’t run in line with the masses.

I’m very interested in this company and the products that it produces. I have been watching for a while to see how it would develop and it is doing amazing things. However, I do have a little bit of fear of change…but I’m also open to different things and ways of doing things that the future continues to bring.

Are there any Apple iOS people in here that made the change? What did you think? Also, just in general what does anyone else think or feel would be the best move for myself to make regarding joint the community by purchasing the newest phone upon release in the next few days? I know I have the 14 day return period, but I don’t like doing things like that without more cause than, “I’m just not sure I like it”.

So brutally truthful…what do you think I should do? I am up for an upgrade with ATT, but of course for a $1500 phone (which is outrageous), but I also don’t want to spend money on a product I have no experience with.

The new nothing phone specs are strong, what should I do??

mwbaldwin05 I didn’t make the change from iOS to Android, I dual carry and have done so for the last 10 years. I have an iPhone I keep for work and an Android phone I keep for fun/personal stuff. But if I had to go back to using just one phone I would keep an Android device - I enjoy the flexibility and freedom the Android ecosystem offers.

If you decide to try Android I can’t think of a better brand to go with than Nothing. The devices cost a fraction of a new iPhone and the OS is so clean. I started my Nothing journey with a Nothing Phone 1 and currently use a Nothing Phone 2. I am going to switch over to the 2a+ when it’s available to purchase so of course I can’t answer any questions specifically about it, but I can give opinions on Nothing devices as a whole. What do you want/need to know?

mwbaldwin05 I think you should definitely go for it! Nothing is doing some really cool stuff with their phones, and I’d be all over one if I could. I get that switching things up can be scary, but it might be a refreshing change. Plus, their designs are pretty unique. If you’re worried about it, maybe look into some reviews or user experiences to get a better feel for the phone. But don’t be afraid to try something new!

I’m honestly not sure what I’m concerned about, other than change. I don’t know what I don’t know, right? I know the specs, which are impressive. I guess I’m just worried about spending the money and feeling like I’m missing things or options that I use with my iPhone. I guess that’s my biggest issue.

Yeah, YouTube is full of reviews and days in the life and there are plenty about Nothing to be found.

I have a iPhone 15 pro and the nothing phone 2. Honestly it’s a tough choice, somehow iPhone keeps drawing me back and when i use my iPhone after a while its boring. Somehow the nothing phone 2 brings so much joy and fun with it. I can honestly say I love this phone.
