Hi,

Pinging you @Rudi since you’re probably the best person to investigate further/forward to correct group.

I seem to only be able to play sound from one earbud at a time when using the “Find My Earbud”-feature. So when both my earbuds are out of the case and I play sound from the app, it only rings from the right one. The left one only rings when it is solo out of the case. Idk if this is something expected like “First find the right one, and then when that is back in its case we will play for the left one”, but I guess it might be hard to locate the left earbud if it is not ringing at some times.

    Great feedback, FilipJacobson

So after checking that out, it’s currently normal behaviour.

However, as you interestingly pointed out, there’s a need for both buds to ring. So I’ve reached out to our relevant teams and made the suggestion - hopefully, we can add this feature to the ear (1) in the near future 👍

Rudi Some more feedback on the feature! Tried the feature again and found another possible glitch in the software. When I push ‘play’ the sound for “Find My Earbud” one of my earbuds starts to ring - just as expected. When I push ‘stop’ to cancel the first bud, the sound keeps on ringing. Then in order to make it go quiet I force quit the app and try to push the button again, because force quitting I learned often solves problems! The only problem is that the button is now a play button (since app was resetted, bud is still playing sound) which if being pressed now starts ringing the other earbud. I now have a full duet (both buds) ringing a little out of phase, and none of them can be stopped until timeout happens since ‘stop’ button doesn’t work (guess timeout is built in since they eventually stop ringing after 60 seconds or so). I caught the action on camera for when none of the buds were able to get silent, check the video out (trying to upload it, one sec) 😄

Maybe this is something you’d like to look into, ofc probably less critical than other bugs/features but still wanted to provide you with the insights I got actively using the feature!

      Happy Monday!

🤦‍♂️ That’s odd, I must say. Thanks a lot for detailing your feedback, it’s super useful.

It should be something relatively simple to sort out. Because of its featherweight, the ear (1) benefit from this feature – even though I haven’t used it yet.

I’m reaching out to our legendary Research teams straight-away. 👍
