Discussion categories, badges, and roles have been trimmed-down to simplify and open up the space to more users. Badges and roles will make a return in the future, they will be a key feature of our new platform. One thing that is certain over the next few months is *change*. Consider the re-opening of this space as the start of a journey to a better community experience.
