Dear friend, Is there anybody which have CMF Phone 1 having charging slow issue.

I have not CMF official adaptor for charging but have same specifications adaptor, but I have facing very slow charging issue.

adbo changed the title to CMF Phone 1 charging slow with third party adaptor .

DebashishPatel Make sure the charger supports PD charging, also use the inbox c to c cable. If your charger doesn’t support PD charging or it’s a proprietary charger then the charging spped will be limited to 10-15 W.

Sourav_Satvaya PD? On other discussion here I noticed that original CMF charger is QuickCharge, no mention of PD. I was just wondering, what type of fast charge CMF Phone (1) support.. Have you more info on this topic?

maniacse PD means Power Delivery. You can check more details about PD in this website

The original CMF charger is a PD charger and it supports fast charging, and yes both CMF 65W and Nothing 45W charger supports PD charging.

Sourav_Satvaya sorry mate, I was not clear enough in my previous post. I know what PD stands for. And to be exact, I see here within other discussion CMF charger, 33W QuickCharger. I thought it is Qualcomm QC, while you mentioned here PowerDelivery. Therefore I was wondering, if CMF Phone (1) accept both protocols (QC + PD) or just one. Also, since it has MediaTek processor, is it possible to have Qualcomm QC charging?

maniacse Qualcomm QC is a proprietary charging technology which works well on device with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This one only supports PD.

CMF has 2 chargers, one is 33W and another one is 65W. In the official website they didn’t clearly mentioned and specific technology used for the 33W, only mentioned universal charger. However for the 65W they mentioned them properly. Looks like the 33W is a fast charger and works well only with Nothing or CMF. The CMF 1 will achieve 33w fast charge using CMF 33W charger. Please check the website for more details.

            CMF 33W

            CMF 65W

Sourav_Satvaya I see. I just checked Europe website, we have here only 65W variant and as you mentioned I can see there finally some finer specs. Unfortunately, I cant see there what receptacle types is available, therefore I will stick for my actual devices with my standard and GaN low wattage chargers. What doesn’t look so good is lack of info about CMF Phone (1) charging protocols and complains around discussions about slow charging with 3rd party adapters. If I can have a hand on this phone, will need to find out how to charge it in some reasonable time. But it will be only temporary phone for me anyway, since there is no NFC, which I use on daily basis, while any of my watch have such functionality.. But that’s for another discussion.. 😃 Thanks for all the useful info!

              a month later

Dear sir Every time I charge it with the 33W charger, it takes a lot of time to charge. It takes a total of 2 hours.

Yes, it happened with me also, I had MI 33w adaptor and apple 20w also but none of them charges quick charge for cmf

Surprisingly ambrane 20w adaptor charges faster than above two. Don’t know the reason

What is the charging time and does it show charging rapidly???

                4 months later

Still slow even in NOS 3.0 stable. Never achieved 50% in 20mins. What a lie.

Sourav_Satvaya it needs to support PD 3.0 with PPS to get 25-28W.

I bought an Anker Nano 3 (511) that meets these specs for £10 new.

Also with NOS 3.0 beta and stable I have issues and need to ensure the screen is on and the second insertion will be fast.

I recommend everyone uses AccuBattery to see what charge they’re pulling. (99p in AppStore for pro version).

CMF1_hacker I have seen this plug and unplug thing on other devices too. Sometimes it charges slow or doesn’t charge at all but unplugging and put it back works. Is it Android 15’s bug, because those devices (not Nothing or CMF) are also running on Android 15
