Hi! I think that Alive is the default, this however doesn’t mean it should be used all the time. That’s because Alive stretches all of the colors to the Display P3 color gamut even when the content is in sRGB/Rec.709. This makes it less precise and results in oversaturation, especially noticeable on faces in webpages or YouTube. I would strongly recommend using Standard. Android will automatically switch to the Display P3 (Alive) mode upon detecting wide-gamut flagged content, and it will spare you the eyesore of oversaturated UI or content. It’s also worth noting that Nothing’s displays are really well calibrated so using them in Standard mode only adds to the experience.
