Why Why can’t I switch to the super wide angle lens while recording video?

      dominikhops When I start shooting with a wide-angle camera, I can only zoom in 2x, but I can’t switch to 0.6x anymore. If I start shooting only at 0.6x, then I can’t switch to 1x, 2x.

        If you go into photo mode and hold the shutter button it starts a recording and allows you to swipe to the right to “lock” it into recording mode. This should allow you to switch between 0.6 and 1x without interrupting recording.

          Derren I need to be able to switch while recording a video, and not use crutches.

              Style2010 that’s understandable, I’m just advising whats possible in the meantime.

                While recording video, you cannot switch between the super wide-angle camera and While recording video, you cannot switch between the super wide-angle camera and the wide-angle camera. Maybe you can realize this opportunity?

                Why can’t I switch camera modules while recording in 4K60 while I can in 1080p? I don’t think that should be a limitation at all.

                Does it really take too much computing power to switch modules in 4K?

                Well that would end up making the camera good ! Don’t expect such common things…its a “Startup” after all 🙂

                Hi. I couldn’t find an option to switch the camera (from main to front and vice versa). I can only pause, stop recording, take a photo.

                Is there any possibility to switch the camera directly during shooting using the stock camera app?

                Style2010 You’ve already been answered. You need to set your finger in photo mode and move it to the right, to the lock sign. And fix it.

                  I just noticed today that in the photo app of my nothing phone 2a there isn’t a camera switch button while taking a video. Will Nothing add it at some time?

                        arpan2308 Yes, I have been using the phone for 6 months now and i am happy with it but decided to try taking a video and noticed that it doesn’t have this button. It’s not a problem for me though since i don’t even use the camera that much, I just wanted to ask whether it will be added at some point.
