Hello all! Just like on the Discord, please utilise this thread as a space to share your Custom Made EQ Settings made via the Advanced EQ tool in Nothing’s X App.

Here are some handy guidelines to follow:
Music/Film/Game/Podcast Genre: What genre of music is best for this pre-set to follow? Such as Drum and Bass, or Classical? Is it that this preset is more suited for the dulcet tones of your favourite podcast? Or the whopping noise of a knockout on your favourite game?
The EQ Settings Itself: Either share your frequency response graph, or the handy QR code itself! Or, if you fancy, why not both?!
Your Story: Why did you choose the settings you did? What conclusions did you come to? Tell us your thought processes. We would love to know why you have got where you did!

      Great thread, I love the suggested guidelines too. Might make the shared EQs a bit easier for people to understand and a less daunting task to pick something. It’ll be great to get an insight into why people have made their EQs a specific way 😄

          Derren I am very excited to see what stories come from everyone’s Advanced EQs! Plus, it is a wonderful excuse to share the new format that was introduced in the latest Nothing X update!

            I’m not much of an audiophile, but I am a music addict tho, so when nothing launched an 8-band equalizer I was soo impressed and excited that I went through a couple of YouTube videos to learn equalizing in-depth, (not a crash course into being an audiophile lmao) I just wanted to gather some basic knowledge about using it, so i learned a bit about them and tried it, i converted a few really useful eq profiles using it not just profiles to enhance the audio experience, for example I made a profile called “into the clouds” and like the name suggests it reduces the bass and the highs and focuses more on the vocals and the main flow and a few of the lows making the audio or song being played very much soothing and not much distracting, which makes it perfect to switch to whenever im using it in the transparency mode or whenever im shopping or doing some activity in which i need to listen to what is around me at the same time the song in the background keeps playing in a non distracting way.

              Kichuu The “Into the Clouds” preset you mention sounds great! I hadn’t considered a custom EQ for transparency mode use, to keep you more aware of your surroundings! Great work!

              And bravo for your prior research to help inform your frequency response changes.

                Hi all, i had the ear 1 and loved how loud it was, now with the ear 2 the stock settings are just very low volume i got🙁

                I craleated a profile which is completely different from the 2 i tried from here. Much louder, thx god at least u can play with it cos stock volume i d just send it back straight away. I compare them to oneplus buds pro 1st gen and airpods pros which is the dullest out of the 3, but ear 2 for some reason is very low volume, and battery isnt the best either, but the fit in my ears are. Anyway i ll try to share my eq settings that i use at the moment but i play with them a lot still

                  RolandBiro Glad you were able to find a way to get the Ear (2)s to sound the way you like. It is a joy to have the option of the Advanced EQ, for such occasions as these!

                    This is my first custom EQ setting, check it out and let me know what you all think. I am not used to making my own custom EQs so i actually think this is a great first try here. 😊
