M1st Don’t buy ear (2). Wait for the new ear and ear (a)
Ear (2) Custom Advanced EQ Settings
I took the bait and bought the new nothing ear after already owning the nothing ear(2).
I love my headphones and iems… I’m one of those people…
Just been comparing the two on advanced EQ but with the default tuning (i.e. I’ve not tweaked either).
Have to say, I’m surprised at the noticeable sound quality upgrade on the nothing ear.
I’ve turned the bass boost off but the bass on the new ear is noticeable more details and dynamic than than the ear 2.
There are other refinements and improvements across the spectrum. But bass is where the biggest improvement is.
I’ve not tested other features yet. But I’m glad to have 2 nothing earbuds so when the battery dies mid phone call on the nothing ear (2) I can immediately switch to the Ear and continue the call. Best BT phonecall quality I’ve experienced bar none
I forgot to talk about the EQ.
Id say the Nothing Ear’s default tuning is close to the sound you get from Crinacle’s EQ profile on the Ear (2)
I have recently purchased a Nothing Ear but don’t know how to tune it for best sound output..can anyone share their advanced EQ settings for Nothing Ear..
recently got Nothing Ear 3, sound is clear but voice seem tiny and treble is harsh. i’ve tried many EQ profile and my own setting. but to my ear, it still seem harsh. some songs has very deep bass, some song has no bass at all
JaishPandey the eq setting “TurnDFup” seriously i was finding something like that thanxxx buddyy who ever you are. made my day

nareshningombam Hello! I hadn’t used any Eq until found this one. Your recommended settings work well to me!
KH6888 same with me, at first it’s all great for me, but after couple of use the treble sound harsher than before, just like you
RolandBiro can you share a perfect eq for nothing ear
Hello everyone. Just bought this guys today for upgrading my wireless experience. In my home I use the Fidelio X3 of Phillips with a SMSL m300 se DAC with Tidal, so I wanted to do something like It on the go, so I research some custom EQs but this one is the best in my opinion. I tweaked a little to solve to high frequencys harshness but now seems perfect with every genre I throw to them. I listen usually listen to latin music (salsa, reggaeton, merengue), EDM (trance, house, hardcore, dubstep, DnB, trap), Rap/Trap, Pop, Rock (Classic ones, metal, post hardcore, heavy metal), and so on, just for sharing some of my tests with you.
Awesome work with this little beasts
