UmeshShinde is this issue resolved? I bought my mobile few days back and facing some issue with my screen pixels. It’s in very bad state. I appreciate your support in this issue.

I facing same issues. While using phone on low brightness my lock screen wallpaper get distortion of colours. But after increasing brightness this problem gone.

Specially in black wallpaper uper portion of wallpaper get greyish tone.

HardikTeraiya I’m also facing the same issue when i visited the service center I showed that this phone is only 3 days old and I’m facing these issues the person of service center said it’ll be solved by upcoming software updates! the issue still persists I’m very very tensed because this issue can increase day by day my life’s condition have been worst because of this problem of this phone it has so damn display issues i can’t even tell u bro my phone in only 15 days old mannnn😭💔💔

ArshSinghBhushan no they are not able to fix it. They change the display at nothing exclusive service centre only for customer satisfaction and they said this is the natural behaviour of OLED display. They are just fooling and not accepting the mistake. They have used cheap OLED display instead TFT would have been better and they compare themselves to iPhone. They are just a software co. Not a mobile one

I’m also facing same issues , I’ll create a mess at the service center i want my money back I’m ready to lose my ₹3000 but atleast return my ₹17058 I’m very very frustrated bro not expected this! the display is fc.ed up bro! they have used bullsh!t oled panel which can be seen on each and every 2a model like literally they made all of us fool

HardikTeraiya they made me fool by saying that it’s common like if i use insta for few mins it’ll start to appear and when i open the notification panel it starts to recover I’ve made worst mistake of my life buying this shit phone the phone is being sold for 12000 in offline market (used) I’ll sell it there if nothing team is ready to give me ₹5000 instead of display replacement!! (just like once OnePlus did)

They are just a software co. Not a mobile one..

But to be Frank yes, all the users are experiencing the same problem the display Nothing used is a cheap quality one. Just compare the AMOLED display having same price segment in different brands they are far better than nothing. A user coming from samsung, OnePlus Nord, Motorola and Vivo never accept it.

I think its a software issue. Because when I tried to test by watching complete black video on YouTube there was no issue in screen.

The same problem i am facing and even i emailed, shared feedback on playstore, given feedback in beta feedback form in setting app. But it’s not resolved. I already owned pixel and amoled device but this problem nothing happened. It’s ruined the experience of nothing phone

Deep Same problem guys! If I’m playing an HDR video with vibrant colors on youtube, the whole display gets tinted even if the video is being played in a small portion of the screen. Its like the display is having seizures in playing the video. And many times the pixels gets torn and inconsistent. Its everywhere. While watching videos, clicking nighttime photos. Any kind of blacks rips the pixels. So disappointed. This is a huge turnoff which I can’t ignore sometimes. Hey NOTHING, pls fix this guys. Its a huge problem. Don’t break our trust. I love your phones but this is blantly wrong.

ZEN_EBL5zUgEXF no since it’s under warranty so no cost but issue still persisted and they are covering this by saying it’s a natural phenomenon of OLED display. They think the customer is fool he won’t understand such things. By any chance can we bring this problem in notice of Carl pie else consumer forum will be the last option to exercise

I’m running an HDR black level test on my Nothing Phone 2a and noticed that the black levels 2, 3, and 4 appear washed out. These specific levels don’t show the correct color depth or distinction like they should, while the other black levels seem fine.

I’ve ensured HDR is enabled and tried adjusting display settings (brightness, contrast, etc.), but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem on the Nothing Phone 2a, or is there a fix for improving HDR black level accuracy?

Would love to hear if anyone has insights or solutions!
