Nothing phone 2 Indian version usage in Japan

Hi,

I would like to know if Nothing phone 2 bought from India can be used in Japan or not. Few mobile carrier service providers ask for Japan certification on phones before issuing SIM. Since Indian version of the phone does not have Japanese certification, will the major Japanese carriers will still work.

I understand the requirement about the device activation using Indian Sim locally in India. My query is specific to impact of Japanese certification on its usage in Japan.

As far as I know, the bands in Indian and other global Nothing phone(2) have same 5G/4G bands. May please confirm this also.
