This is the second thread I came across with same context. Unless two users randomly started experiencing electric shock and decided to make a thread about it on the same day as the other one.

I wonder what must be the reason, did nothing push an update recently which is resulting in electric shock during charging? /s

BalajiMUNAGAPATI Yeps it is happening but its intensity is low, still a safety hazard. Nothing should really come out with a solution for this.
ALSO THIS DOSENT happen with slow charging. (like charging from computer)

I too experienced it thought it was me tripping off

Rob ⚡️ changed the title to Electric Shocks from CMF Phone 1 While Charging .

I use 25W charger, no electrocution here,

BalajiMUNAGAPATI If it’s tinkling then its normal. On some devices it happens. I have used some phones with metal back and frame and all of them had that. I noticed it for the 1st time when I bought Moto X4 which had a metal fram. For the first few days I wasn’t using any cover and I could feel some tinkling when I touched the metal frame while it was charging, then I asked my friend who had Moto Z which also had a metal frame and he had felt the same thing.

Yes…I am also getting electric shock from back panel screws and the camera module . I am using cmf 25w charger. Visited service center at nagpur, firstly they denied to accept problem, while insisting the center’sstaff agreed and kept phone for resolving the problems, Not yet returned the phone, No proper service center in Nagpur, and also denies to change phone, If any bad situations/batery blast happens after this who will be responsible for this, company should be provided new device instead of old ones

Yes, even I’ve been experiencing shock issues. There is a slightly vibration when I touch the metal camera module when the phone is charging and a slight shock when I touch the screws on back panel. I haven’t ever felt any shocks when touching the cable as others have reported in diffferent threads

same for me. I just bought this phone as a secondary. It does not give a shock if I charge via USB ( computer), maybe issue with the fast charging? slow charging doesn’t show any problem.

I guess who ever facing this its better to not use it while charging and use normal charger.

I bought CMF phone 1 couple days ago and While I charge the phone with CMF 33W charger, the camera module giving mild electric shock. I tried charging with multiple adaptors and power sockets but same thing happening. Nothing needs to adress this issue ASAP.

      PurushottamMallick to update you guys.
I tried with Samsung 65w power adapter and it was giving me a slight electric feel on those screws sometimes. I tried using the iPhone power adapter and have not faced any issues. The iPhone power adapter is only 20w.

I guess it’s a problem with high high-wattage power adapter in my case. On the safer side, it’s better to charge it with a slow adapter for now until nothing addresses it.

BalajiMUNAGAPATI Yes it is 100% true. Low Intensity, but it is only when fast charging/normal charging. It is not on Slow charging.

My cmf phone 1 yesterday, while charging the mobile screws produce electric shock!! anyone approached service centre and their issue resolved? Let me know!

Update : 07/10/2024 ( service centre first visit)

I’ve visited the customer service centre, they said they’re gonna replace me a phone, but they were saying the new phone which I get might resolve the issue! And in addition to this they are going to give me an unofficial silicone rubber case as a solution. Which I’ve not accepted.
