I was hoping these would be some sort of normal headpones. However, looking at the image above - it doesn’t quite look like a headphone to me - so putting other bits of rumour, etc, together - I reckon these are some sort of ‘open’ earbuds - an evolution of the Ear Stick so to speak. The Stick didn’t sit in your ear canal but rather rested inside slightly on the surface.
What would that look like evolved? Well, given the ‘Open’ name, an open type of earbud. Something that doesn’t go into your ear but rather rests on it and sort of clips onto them like an earing.
The following is my own wacky mock up - my design skills not withstanding but gave it a whirl for fun. I present to you my interpetation of the Nothing Open:

Black
Grey / White
Thoughts? Think this is on the money or way off target - will Nothing pull a bait and switch on us and this is something totally different? Guess we will find out soon.
