Hi community,

I have a problem with the CMF Watch Pro 2 and wanted to ask the Nothing community for their thoughts.

Here’s the issue:

The watch was not automatically detected, unlike other CMF products. This happened on different phones, including the Nothing phone, even with all permissions granted. The distance was always very close, and the firmware update for the watch has already been done. A reset didn’t help either. The watch pairs fine with the QR code, but the Quick Panel icon is missing. Instead, I see a Material 3 logo (see image).

Theoretically, everything works fine, but it’s strange. This might indicate that the identification is incorrect, or am I wrong. Could be that I am overreacting.

I tried that but I think they didn’t really understand the issue. They told me that it would be no issue if the Watch works but they gave the information to the responsible team. I just wanted to have 2 opinions.

It sometime take a few days for it to appear, if it doesn’t try to go through the pairing process once again

In my case I have the classic “headset” icon (why tho).

Sometimes it just won’t reconnect automatically after I get a little far away from my phone.

And once it disconnected itself for no reason while I was sleeping. Obviously I granted all the permission and the CMF watch app is always running in the background.

Nothing happned till now. I still have the Material 3 Design Logo and it would be nice to have the original one since Nothing OS 3 will be releasing in near future. (1 month passed)

I’m having the same issue. The CMF Watch Pro 1 used to show up as a smart watch but with the Watch Pro 2, it’s not recognized as such!

startiel disconnected on me too while sleeping last night. I wonder does it go into a sleep mode with lack of movement over a prolonged period. However my watch is showing properly on my NP

        Hello,

I bought the CMF Watch Pro 2 yesterday and today it was delivered. I had the same issue, even after giving all permissions. Then I tried enabling GPS on my phone along with Bluetooth and WiFi, and then it worked. I am not sure why but it works. Please try it out if it works for you as well.

Fix this problem please. My Nothing Phone 2a is also not recognising my CMF Watch Pro 2. I have tried resetting the device many times but it still won’t fix the issue.

        UPD.

I don’t know how, but the problem was solved overnight. By myself… Nothing has been visually updated.

Mortis this is one of many problems with the watch, along with workout tracking being out by a country mile.

I’ve been complaining on the forum for 6 months, tumbleweed from the team. .

shafi_22 gps tracking worked pretty accurately for me, for hiking and outdoor walk activities. the distance was accurate to about 10 meters off, which is pretty decent IMO.

XenonTNT I get awarded a kilometre for every 700 yards . I know this through comparison with Strava and comparison with my brother’s mid range Garmin. It wasn’t this way at launch, a software update has made it worse.

Heyy, I want to buy CMF watch pro 2

So can u all tell Me, is it good decision to buy this watch??

Does this watch have connectivity issue with phone??

              I have nothing phone 2

I was using fireboltt watch, and it had connectivity issue

SANCHITSAWANT I own one of these and would not recommend it.

The connectivity relies on the CMF watch app being open, at least in the background. If that closes the watch stops updating.

It’s a very basic watch and I wouldn’t go as far to call it a smart watch in the definition we’ve come to know. It’s just a toy.

Health monitoring is innacurate. GPS is terrible. It’s functionality is very limited. However the screen is nice and the battery life is great.

The price is what lured me in, but it’s not as good a deal as you might think.
