I’ve always been interested in photo editing, though I’ve never truly delved into it. Perhaps it’s the learning curve or the time commitment — or maybe a mix of both — that held me back. However, recently, my motivation to begin the journey to learn it has surged - probably because of all the amazing shots I see on the photography channel 😉.

I’m interested in learning about your photo-editing practices. How many of you tweak the photos you’ve taken? Do you polish your best captures right away or prefer to wait a few days, approaching it with a fresh perspective? Alternatively, do you think the quality of today’s mobile cameras is good enough for direct uploads without edits?

Below you’ll find a photo taken with Phone (2) and an edited version of it. Can you tell which is which? Which one do you prefer? And why?

Feel free to reply with some of your favourite shots! 📷

    Daniel Nice thread!

I’ve spent a few years doing freelance photography and whether shooting with an SLR or a smartphone, I am most at home editing in Adobe Lightroom.

Access to all the parameters with simple sliders is just 🤌. I also love the before and after views and the able to copy/paste settings between images.

Dropping an image below that I worked on this weekend:

I’m no pro in editing but the right one seems like edited 👀 kinda looks like what I would prefer

Photo editing has always intrigued me, yet I’ve hesitated to fully immerse myself in it, partly due to the learning curve and time investment. Lately, however, my drive to explore this art has intensified, fueled by the stunning photographs I encounter on photography platforms. This surge of motivation has led me to consider exploring tools like PicsArt Editor MOD APK, seeing it as a potential avenue to enhance my editing skills and unleash my creativity further….Lucky!

I do, amount depends on the intended use. In general, taking photos for private, mostly documentary use, I do not edit at all (as the qualitative basis exists (ip15pro)).

Do you polish your best captures right away or prefer to wait a few days, approaching it with a fresh perspective?
I polish right away if I feel to. There is no reason to me to decide over that days later.

Alternatively, do you think the quality of today’s mobile cameras is good enough for direct uploads without edits?
A kinda invalid question. With the variety of different devices, especially of different classes (from beginner to pro devices), it does not make a sense. Depends on the photo quality of a device and to where an upload is to make.

First one is Samsung-like oversaturated (which is I’ll never use a Samsung device again), second one comes in a bit dull. May the best is in between..😄

It’s great that your motivation for photo editing is kicking in! Honestly, the learning curve can feel daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a creative outlet rather than a chore. Personally, I edit most of my photos—whether it’s subtle adjustments or a more involved process—because I feel like it helps bring out the best in an image.

I tend to let my favorite shots sit for a day or two before editing. That little break gives me a fresh perspective and helps me be more objective. As for mobile cameras, they’ve definitely come a long way! While they can produce fantastic results, I still think a little tweaking can make even a good shot truly shine. I use Remini Pro to enhance photos on my android phone.

Curious to see which version you edited—both shots are beautiful! Looking forward to seeing more from your editing journey!
