I had the same question ( a better set of photos would help!) but have just bought and collected the card holder. Rather wonderfully the card holder has a hollow fixing ring so that the lanyard (I also have this) just attaches as usual and securely fixes the card holder in place as the ‘fourth’ screw through the ring of the card holder. Wonderful! It also gives a stable base for when the phone is on a flat surface.
