Hi,

I’ve just recently moved from an iPhone 11 to your Nothing 2a and I’ve noticed that every time I take a selfie my face looks like its been retouched, almost like a beauty filter.

I’ve switched all the retouching features off and checked all camera settings and I still notice my face looking slightly unnatural. I’ve compared the two cameras with my old phone and the Nothing 2a. While obviously there’s a slight difference in colour and clarity, it feels like some of the features of my face look slightly artificial when directly compared.

Has anyone else found this the case and is there any other settings I am not aware of?

Other than that, I love the phone!

i have the same problem with my 2A and its bothering me a lot, hopefully since they’ve reduced the image processing time with recent updates, they’ll do this next?

Every time I am taking a picture of a face and open it, I can first see details like pimples, marks, scars and so on, but after a couple of seconds, all details vanish and it looks like some cheap instagram filter was applied.

How can I get rid of that? I already disabled scene recognizer

Bought 3a. This issue is still present. Pictures just looks so bad. I also feel like they alter the shape of the face too and make it taller. This effect is very cheap looking. Don’t know if they fix this or not.
