Qualcomm has a lot of chips, with ANC, smart watch etc.. other that phones, I wonder what is on the horizon….
I still think a power bank is the way to go, it’s something that’s not to crazy like a smartphone or whatever, instead it’s simpler to create and cheaper for the customers. Also the possibilities of transparent design are nearly endless, imagine just a transparent part exposing the main battery module. A wireless charger would be sick, a small display displaying the battery level would be pretty cool but it would be even more expensive.
All I’m saying is if we do end up getting a power bank I personally wouldn’t be disappointed at all.

Congratulations to NOTHING and all the Community members. It’s actually a great news. Qualcomm has almost all the required chips in the Tech industry. It’s bring the company stability and transparency in what ever it requires. Now the company has all the big guns like Google, Qualcomm and the quality of Teenage engineering. With all these the company can go blazing. Now we have the capability of building an ecosystem.

In regards to what the valuation is and who the investors are, we are not announcing this info right now because it doesn’t fit our current goals. Hope you can understand.
We’re super humbled by the support coming in from all around – supply chain, strategic partners, and investors and will keep pushing ahead.
And especially the faith from our community. Betting on us was bold, considering all we told you about about our future roadmap were a bunch of Pokemon names.

No worries about name-dropping. You already have some very big names dropped on the official list. We understand and that isn’t as important at this stage. Hyped - let’s GO!
I can only second this. I think Nothing has the right mind set and they seem to be very goal-oriented. As long as these kind of news keeps dropping I´m satisfied and specifics/details will uncover over time. Like @Carl said; we belived in Nothing when it was nothing ( 
) but Pokemon names.

We bet on you because you’ve proven to us with things you’ve done in the past that you will deliver. With the team that you have around you, with the loyalty that you have from your colleagues and coworkers, how can we not bet on you? Then add Teenage Engineering to the group, and now a partnership with Qualcomm? The sky is the limit!
It takes a lot of courage to do what you and your team are doing. Most people will never understand the difficulties of starting a new business within a space that is controlled by power house companies. The only thing we do know is that you are in charge with a great team and support system behind you. We bet on you because you have proven to us that you will deliver great products all while listening to us and taking us into consideration. There is nothing more powerful than a person bold enough to do what they want, while leading and listening to everyone supporting them.
4 months later
I’m waiting to see when there is additional funding so I would like participate. It won’t be the first time I’ve participated in a similar venture (already two failures with Kickstarter) except that for this one, I know who I’m talking to by participating.
Carl, you’re not just anyone and you’ve already proven your expertise with OnePlus. I’m sure that in your head, everything was ready for this adventure when you left OnePlus. You know how to surround yourself with good people, and we see a glimpse of that every day when we’re on the community forum, and on Discord now.
I tried to be there at the beginning of Nothing, I signed up in July to be part of it, but some external and personal events delayed my acceptance on the forum and to this spirit.
I’m proud to be part of this universe now, even if I’m only a small cog in the whole, but small cogs are there to carry upwards and forwards.
I aspire and hope to participate even more in the spirit that is Nothing with the means I have (uh sorry I don’t have fortune in metavers, nor oil, nor mafia)
