Is it worth buying buds pro 2 if I use Spotify? If anyone has buds pro 2 can they hear any - even subtle - difference between listening with and without LDAC?

Actually the LDAC codec give you the most HD premium quality sounds as compared to SBC or AAC so there audio quality is much better than any other.
yes, but does Spotify even take that into account since it has poor quality?
Spotify requires premium to play high quality sound that is it cannot use LDAC or LHDC codec
I have Spotify Premium - so should I use headphones with LDAC?
MarcinX absolutely you can use
So I have to buy better headphones. Now I have Buds
MarcinX no actually there are many buds who support LDAC or LHDC codec so search them
I want buds pro 2
MarcinX yes it supports LDAC so you can buy
MarcinX I can hear subtle, really subtle, difference between AAC and LDAC, but in fact, I hear no difference (on Sony’s WF xm5). It’s personal, every person’s hearing is different. U can try it yourself by listening same track in mp3 and FLAC on wired headphones (not crappy 10 bucks headphones, some reference, studio headphones)
Other thing, Spotify can’t hit that 990 bandwidth of LDAC, it has 320kbps in best scenario, this is what AAC can handle
Buds2 will probably sounds better, not cuz of FLAC but cuz they are newer and I hope better sounding
Edit: type of music also makes a difference, some MIDI madness from 70′ or today shi*y popular “music” …LDAC won’t makes it sound better, there is everything bad from begining (recording, mastering…)
Here is what I think: Apple Music or a number of other streaming services support Lossless files. Apple Music app lets you select if you want to stream AAC, stream lossless over wifi, and download lossless. When phone and Buds connect via LDAC protocol, the AAC files are decompressed and reencoded to the highest bit rate codec available. So even high-bitrate AACs also sound as they should. For lossless files, the transfer is compressed to full 990 bandwidth of LDAC. CMF Buds pro 2 are Hi-Res certified meaning it has DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) capable of Hi-Res. Bottomline: Switching on the LDAC on the buds and having a phone that supports LDAC will improve the sound quality to the max possible for the given audio driver. I am using it and the difference is substantial.
