Hi guys… I use Battery One to check the temperature and follow the health. No need app’s charge limitation anymore as you know. Last update bring the 80% limitatiton. Do you know better app? Btw Battery One is not bad but I want to know yours. Thanks!

Derren changed the title to Best Battery Monitoring App .

I’ve used accubattery a fair bit but, I don’t think any app is totally reliable.

ButinG tbh - I don’t see the point of ‘monitoring’ it all - the battery will eventually wear down no matter what you do. However, I’ve used AcuBattery and also Ampere to check things from time to time.

ButinG I Do care, like charging only till 80% using nothing official charger, although I think through time, it got degraded. its age is 2yr 1m

If not watching the state of the battery continuously is a must, I don’t think a separate app is necessary.

I just use the adb command

    adb shell dumpsys battery

to check on the real current mah and percentage charged and I know exactly how far the battery has degraded so far. I own my device now for a week and just checked. It was 2991 mah on 64 percent which would give almost exactly 4700 mah on 100% charge. So I know my device had 100 % capacitiy out of the box.

Btw. I charge very often in between and just stay between 25 and 80 % (read Battery University site for details).

Absolutely you don’t need to use battery app cause it will also drain your battery in background and if you keep your device in between 25%-80% then it will slow down your battery ageing or capacity

nagapranay18 it will be announced in sep. it will start to roll out after that. so this is year for sure. rolling updates depends on various things.

also you will get get smart charging feature as well. hopefully where you can set limit to charging to 80% after that it will stop charging. hopefully, I am waiting for this feature.

I highly recommend BatteryGuru. I has everything you need 🙂
