The pictures from the front camera are always enhanced and does not look natural at all .it would be really helpful if just like for the rear camera the “raw” option would be available for the front camera

Mr_SuryaTeja it’s because of flickering rate of the light. In India, light flickers at 50hz. Actually the HDR should switch to a shutter speed where the light doesn’t flicker and stack those images. Anti - banding should be implemented tho.

The problem here is it tried to stack an image with banding with a image without banding and the algorithm got confused and gave this output.

    We waited a long time to get update 2.5.3 that never came as well as 2.5.4 but we finally got 2.5.5 and now camera is:

    Low resolution, poor low light picture, wrong skin colour - a disaster.

      Worst camera app for 40k price @Nothing_phone2.

      1. Camera app is very laggy.
      2. Not many filters available.
      3. Touch is pathetic in camera app. While increasing the brightness in photo mode it switches to video. Switching between modes is very slow compared with other phones.
      4. Post processing ruining the pics uneven brightness and failed to adjust it at face edge.

      @CarlPei I really appreciate if you push team to make it better camera that will increase the trust in the public then they can trust upcoming phones from your brand. In this competitive segment mouth talk is very important promote your company. I hope you can understand

          Derick If red dot then HDR will remain on and when the white HDR symbol, it will decide whether HDR is to be activated while clicking a certain photo or not.

            How to get camera widget in phone 2? Currently on the latest firmware 2.5.5

            … the Phone 2 was so disappointing it hurts. My old pixel 4 is so much better, these might be 50mp but even my HTC HERO in the old days took better photos of the night sky than this.
