I really think they should’ve given an option to disable the hdr option, because the picture which I’m clicking are really bad.

This photos are over processed.

They need to give option to disable the HDR

Totally dispointed with the camera…Heard great things abt nothing user experience but camera dispointed a lot…. hope they will fix with upcoming OTA update…

(This above image is after editing in Google photos app just applied HDR effect to 100% and photo looks quite brighter and crisp)

Recently purchased nothing phone 2, user experience is superb, phone is slightly bigger in size & weight it should be 6.2-6.4″ size factor would be best.

Camera: manual mode is essential for HDR and Night mode..auto night and HDR always messing the quality. Camera needs lots of improvement specially in portrait mode..as all portrait photos becomes smooth. Details are missing.

Nothing phone 2  needs these features in this new update 2.5 are

Cinematic video blur effect mode…

Camera is struggling in heavy sunlight please fix it by updating 

Whitening skin features needed

Camera video shots needs more stable.. they are like shaking little little 

Hdr better needed 

Hdr off on switch 

Please give new modes is effects in camera..

Video quality of Uwide angle camera is not so good.. please fix it 

UWide angle camera videos fix better skin tone..it’s darken the skin colour.. please fix it by giving whitening skin colour

    HDR is making photo more sharpen and when zoomed in after the photo click it is degrading Quality

    Same issue with me like above photo, It is showing like an worst edited photo.
    Please do a Quick resolve on above Camera issues.

      rammurti1186 I also noticed that the HDR happens to be intelligently activating on its own. I hope it can be toggled manually. However, it is with great guarantee that Nothing Phone(2) can take very good pictures.

        It’s rear camera have to improve like front camera, front camera capture more light than rear camera please improve the rear camera

        For me the camera is better after the update, there s still some issue but it s ok. When there s enough light it gives a very good quality of picture.

        Quality of the camera needs to be improved in nothing phone 2.

        Need HDR Enable and disable option.

        Need gallery app for nothing phone 2

        Need horizontal scrolling option in menu tray

        Please add setting for Auto Flash. Now it can be turned on/off manually. Depending on light/subject condition flash should work automatically.

        Anyone else wanting a propper “PRO” mode for video and photo? I’m switching from an Lg V30+ from 2017, and compared it is lacking hard. Here are some features i miss with snapshot from my old Lg v30+.

        • Hi-Fi audio Sterio recording uo to 24-bit/48kHz audio recording with controls for levels and such
        • ISO/Shutter/WB/EV wheel with haptic feedback for selection
        • Manual Focus wheel with haptics visualization of focus area
        • High bitrate recording 52 Mbps
        • Optical Image Stabilization
        • Point zoom feature (able to scroll zoom with variable speed in any place in the frame, not center zoom only)
        • Color Histogram on PRO Photo Mode
        • QuadDac 32-bit/192kHz audio (Supports Max 32bit / 384KHz audio files through wired headphones) (*But i know this one is not gonna happen from now on in phones :S)

        I would love if they could integrate a Propper PRO mode with some icons and features with the NOthing Design icons.
