I have noticed two problems on my nothing phone 2 camera, first one is whenever I click a photo from closeup there is this reddish tone on the photos. 2nd one is, there is this slider when clicking a photo the brightness one for photo I have used both iphone and Xiaomi phone before using nothing and when I use the slider to dim the photo it does not get very dark. It’s still bright but I have noticed when I zoom and then lock the brightness then lower it and then zoom out then it gets dark

I got the Nothing phone 2 about 3 months ago and from day one the camera has been a let down as it’s inconsistent and way over processed .. also I use a flag ship Samsung the Nothing phone 2 definitely doesn’t feel flag ship the build and performance is good but the rest needs a lot of improvement it wasn’t worth $1050 AU ..

I understand that there already are many complaints for the Nothing Camera but these are the pictures of the Nothing Phone 2 camera in my room.

This is with Nothing OS 3.0 beta (same in 2.6 and before that)

The photos look cartoonish when there is a light source in the viewfinder. I mean this is just unacceptable, these phones have been here for more than 2 years and most people are not going out to take pictures in accurate lighting.

I really really hope Nothing addresses the camera because this is supposed to be their flagship, they’ve had many phones now to even if not perfect, but atleast make them acceptable. But this is just horrendous

The Nothing Phone (2) camera has some issues, particularly with detail loss and exposure. The front camera struggles with preserving fine details, and the rear camera often suffers from overexposure. Additionally, the lack of an option to turn off HDR in photo mode limits control over image quality, making it hard to get consistent results in varying light.

Camera is the weakest link of this phone. Nothing must prioritise improvement of both rear and front cameras of NP2.

Atleast they should acknowledged the issue some time preview looks better then clicked picture

I am using Phone 2 for almost 1 n half year, but still the camera issues are not fixed. Look at switching between camera lens, is it functioning like 45k smartphone. I must say budget smartphones will work better than these.

Note : Mods don’t try to hide or delete these post. I want nothing team members to respond on this post and clarify when are we going to get these issues fixed.
