Phone (2) - Battery Drain Discussion
- (Edited)
Battery drain is very real since the update, feels like my Huawei from 10 years ago that I just switched from to the phone 2… after 10 years of hardcore usage; not a good look. Nothing, fix this urgently - LIKE, TODAY
sinkablegoat when did you buy this phone
HariSankarD Was Digital Wellbeing using majority of battery before uninstall? I am just trying to understand how uninstalling Digital Wellbeing will solve the problem?

baymax FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW HOW TO DISABLE DIGITAL WELLBEING !!
And stop saying stupid things like “Uninstall Digital Wellbeing”. You can’t Uninstall, you can only Disable it , it’s a system app. It won’t track your activities in the background and drain battery after you DISABLE IT.
hexagonal707x didn’t help, Nothing Phone 2 is still very hot and drains the battery extremely fast(even when not in use all background apps closed of course). I have to charge the phone 3 times a day, with the previous update there was no problem and the phone lasted me 2 days

hexagonal707x I am aware how to disable it, I was just trying to understand how that solves battery drain issue. FYI Uninstall suggestion was not initiated by me I had replied to the thread, please have a look at the conversation carefully
Shubham_Gupta bro simply factory reset your phone and see the result, same thing happened to me and after resetting it’s just like new

baymax digital wellbeing is known to cause problems with battery drain in alot of phones. Just search in reddit. So it’s a just a safety measure for reducing drain. I’ve done it with my NP2, I’m having great battery life. I hope it helps you too!

Please reset your phone if you haven’t done in Android 14. Battery life will be better than what you are getting now. They have the worst battery after 2.5.2. But in order to save your battery health just try it.

CuratedBits they should really come out clean about the fast charging lies.. 25 max is not 45w… Same for the 120hz screen.
But they won’t. We really got swindled, nothing lied to us.
Recently the charging to my nothing phone 2 is stuck at 1% I cant charge any further
Greetings to you all, I am writing this message to express my concern regarding the lates update of the nothing phone, which is 2.5.3.
I have updated my nothing phone 2 last week, as I have noticed two issues, issue number one is that the battery does not last long, where before the battery could easily last more than 12 hours but after the update the battery barely manages 10 hours.
Issue number 2, the phone is overheating all the time and I don not recall this issue before.
My phone is nothing phone 2, 512GB/12GB Ram.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
