From last week my nothing phone 2 has battery drain issue, it ends up with 5 to 6 hrs battery life and it totally disappointing and I’m feeling sad about my new phone has these kinnda issue so kindly resolve this issue with an update
@ManojPaidimar try factory reset
gokulkrishna_CLPKDVEwLg did this improved after software rest. Do you have any nothing whatsapp groups , Me from Trivandrum
I Recently Bought Nothing Phone 2. But I’m very disappointed with the battery health! when before i check so many reviews i didn’t find anything wrong about battery. than i purchase the phone. this phones battery is ridiculous!! even when my phone is in IDLE mode in night it’s take 18% to 20% battery. now tell me how can i survive with this situation .
my phone is in OS 2.5.2
FakrulAnwar i faced the same issue, so first thing to try is reset the device and if that still doesn’t fix then take it to the service center, they will take out the battery and charge it independently outside the phone which will reset the battery cycle and issue will get fixed. The service center solution did work for me. Their USP i.e. OS itself ig is killing the battery.
Hope this gets resolved in the coming update.
NOS 2.5.3 resolves idle battery drain and normal battery drain issues. Guys please share your scenarios.
I don’t have battery drain issues , but ideal drain still is a bit more after the update, But my phone has heating issues.
Facing huge battery drain overnight. Like when I went to bed phone was at 51% (all background apps closed) Time about 1.00 A.M in the morning at around 9.00 A.M it was 42% with Internet and Bluetooth off.
Mobile is heating too much in normal uses .. and battery draining issues hasn’t fixed yet in this update too
Infinity check ambient temperature and background he no heating issues
If you guys are still facing battery drain issue after 2.5.3 then consider doing a factory reset. They have really fixed the battery drain issue.
JithinJinadevan I think you need to do a factory reset sir… my battery drain overnight (8 hours) is only 3%
I have two month old nothing Phone 2. It’s battery get drained in 5 hours with minimal usage. And charging is much slower as it is taking more than a hour to get charged.
Mew-World-Magiks I’m not sure if it’s true or not
Too much way to much battery drain after 2.5.3 update getting around 7 hours of sot. Earlier I used to get 12-13 hours last week. My device is 3 weeks old.
If you haven’t already, try leaving the phone on the charger, idle without using it, for 2 to 3 hours after it is fully charged to 100%. System will optimise itself again in the background after each new update and this can lead to higher battery consumption if it’s combined with using the phone. This way the optimisations will be done much quicker and this can help in getting you better battery again.
Stringfellow_hawke what’s your avg. SOT?
