I wat to hide navigation bar too
I like my keyboard is as low as possible.
Would like to get this option too.
Just left a feed about this here
Nothing OS is designed to have a specific look, I believe themes would ruin its uniqueness and style. Probably a widgets though would be a nice addition
One thing that I don’t like is the white line that is at the bottom of the screen, it would be nice if the user could decide if they would like to have it or not, or at least make it not so intrusive in some apps and have it have a background completely transparent and make it not take up screen space. An example of this is that in the Twitter app “X” steals a little space on the screen but in the weather app the white line has a transparent background.
Yes this needs to happen, it kills the symmetry asthetic they trying to achieve
YES
I noticed that even ios have this navigation bar in all third party apps with ui intelligently filling up the background matching with the app, and hides itself in certain areas… I would love the option to hide completely or atleast well integrated ui like ios..
Itsamithere At this time there is no way to remove this natively in Nothing OS.
Hello I Just Bought Nothing Phone 2. I’m not Able To Remove The Navigation Bar Below The Screen this is Very Frustrating. Apps are getting Low Space For Running. In Not Able to Fully Use the Phone. And has any fix for that?. This is a big deal for me
I had this option in samsung 2days i am searching and now I understand three is no option to hide. shame really this is so simple like may others optioni can not find
Coming From Samsung And Oneplus i was expecting this feature to be present by default not all apps are running like in my 8 years old phone with thick bezels. now im regretting buying nothing phone 2. also the top bar is also extends below the camera module that also has to be reduced. lot of waste in screen space
Any updates on this?
you can make it transparent in the Developer Options but it doesnt seem to work
Harish That space is used by most apps, although the gesture line remains. The color and how it’s used is controlled by the app itself, not the OS.
