you can make it transparent in the Developer Options but it doesnt seem to work

Reason we use gestures instead of navigation buttons/icons is to have full screen experience

Having this area kind of defeats the purpose as it still occupies some space on screen and feels like an extension to bezels.

Hope this would be hidden in future updates.

Harish That space is used by most apps, although the gesture line remains. The color and how it’s used is controlled by the app itself, not the OS.

When we can see this option to remove gesture pill from Nothing OS?

I second this. Hiding the navbar has to be among my top favourite features to see on any android device. It makes everything very aesthetically pleasing and pulls the keyboard down which in my opinion looks a lot cleaner and less cluttered without the navbar showing.

Is there any way to hide the navigation bar below the screen as I couldn’t find any.

The only things I could find is to increase font size and lower screen size to minimum, makes the bar much less noticable and smaller. Also enable make hint transparent, could make a difference in the future. Perhaps if we can’t get rid of it, maybe make it dotted to fit the aesthetic?

RajeshSiddhan Hi! I am planning to buy the Nothing (2) and the inability to hide the navigation bar is a dealbreaker for me. Have they implemented the feature yet? Thanks!!

Please tell me you’re planning on adding the feature to hide it

Is there anyway to hide the gesture navigation bar at the bottom of the screen like how Samsung does in their OneUI?
