"Hey fellow Nothing Phone 2 users!

I’ve encountered a bug that’s driving me crazy! When I’m on a call, my internet connection ( mobile data) stops working simultaneously. This is super inconvenient, especially when I need to access information or send messages during a call.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it or is it a known bug that’s being worked on?

Let’s help each other out and get this sorted!

    KPraveenKrishnakumar This may be due to you service provider. I had noticed this last week plus slow downloads. Now everything’s back to normal I put it down to an issue with my network at the time as I’ve done nothing different.

      This is somewhat normal and not a ‘Nothing’ problem per se. If you network supports it, I’d suggest activating VoLTE. While in a call, the phone switches to the call only bandwidth which is either 2g or 3g, and typically this also cuts off data connection for reducing call drops and such issues.

      So, the key here is - enable VoLTE!

      • This is really bad, my Volte is not working after update. I’m not able to share internet to my laptop when I’m in call. Why they have given update and put bugs in our phones 🥲

          I reset the network settings and it worked, VoLte is now working. Thanks for help.
