Will we see Ear FW Improvements based on Ear (open) R&D?

I just watched the video on the Ear (open) product and at this point in the video the guy explains how they banked loads of noise samples from all over the world to develop the ANC for the product, as well as other things pertaining to developing the firmware for the Ear (open). Is it likely any of this research will be used to improve upon (the already decent) Nothing Ear (2024) firmware? Tweaks and improvement are always welcomed by the consumers, and regarding the Nothing Ear line specifically, things like transparency mode could definitely do with improving (I think most people would agree it’s the weakest part of the product), and I was wondering whether we could expect any firmware improvements using the R&D that was gathered for the Ear (open) .

It’ll be interesting to see. It’s a positive sign that Nothing are investing in audio R&D and showcasing innovation that they’re making in that realm. It’s very positive.

I hope, like you, to see any software enhancements to come to current ear headphones and future ear headphones… they’re setting themselves up for success, that’s for sure!
