Before buying the phone, I had first seen it with one of my office colleagues. Later, one of my friend’s friends also had the same product. I was initially planning to get the Phone (3A Pro), but I hadn’t seen anyone using a model from the A-series. Still, I decided to go for it because Nothing is not a brand for everyone.
Yes, their products are priced higher compared to other brands, but they offer something unique a premium user experience, distinct design, and innovation, even if the hardware isn’t the most powerful.
To be honest, when I was buying the Phone (3A Pro), I did feel the price was on the higher side, and the hardware specs were almost 50% less powerful than similarly priced phones. I was specifically comparing it with the Moto Edge 60 Pro and the Phone F7. The main competitor in my mind was the Moto Edge 60 Pro it’s waterproof with an IP69 rating and packed with the latest features. That’s also why so many people choose that phone it offers a balanced package.
So why did I still go with Nothing?
Because I’m someone who loves tech, and for me, the user experience matters the most. In terms of design, interface, and the unique Glyph lighting, there’s simply no comparison. I also still believe in Carl Pei I’ve been following him since his OnePlus days. He once said that many brands promise impressive features on paper, but in real life, they don’t hold up. That really resonated with me.
In fact, I’m also planning to buy the Nothing headphone (1) soon. It’s a bit pricey, but I love the design and the level of audio customization Nothing offers.
So yes, I think I’ve said enough. I’m a proud fan of the brand.
