Hey @Fr4nKB i had bought the app in google play store and am using beta version of the app v2.3 1st of dec 2024

i have np2 and my mom has np2a device, is there way to create ringtone for my mom phone, because i was not able to create glyph tone for all dissapointed

give an option to choose device so u can create tones for other familly members

i have nothing phone 2 running on nos 3.0 beta,

muhkuhaushonolulu it’ll be really we’ll if you would know the full form as soon as possible. Which means jitna jaldi possible ho please do it and I added please which means request not ans order and You must read whole post not one word.

Hardik Thanks, I’ll see what I can do 🙂

UKKarthik You could download the app on your mom’s phone, you would just need to login with the Google account you used to buy the app and download it. Since you are on NP2 with 3.0 beta, may I ask if the app crashes when using Glyph Studio or the automatic composer?

        Hello @Fr4nKB,

Great work! This is really handy!
I wonder, on the ‘normal’ Nothing Glyph system, when you read (expend, and not remove) a notification, it stops the essential glyph… This allows you to remove the essential glyph while keeping your notification, and still been ‘glyphed’ for a new one…
I think the onNotificationRankingUpdate is overided from NotificationListenerService to handle ranking updates…

Do you think it could work, and be implemented?

By the way… I have no problem under NOS3.0B1… Still, I did not check everything…

GaspardM I didn’t know Essential did this, I’ll look into it.

I think I’ve found a workaround for the Automatic Composer and Glyphify Studio crashes on Android 15. I’m uploading an open beta release right now so if anyone is having trouble using these two features, please opt into the open beta on the Play Store page of the app and let me know. The fix will be available tomorrow as always.

Fr4nKB buddy please impliment the 80% glyph in the charging meter in tomorrow’s update.

Hardik That’s a low severity issue, I’ll address it directly in the stable channel when it’s time

Fr4nKB that’s awesome news! I thought I was the only one who preferred it that way haha

Fr4nKB Thankyou mate, ans I had a question that I just thought that when my extential notificationz are on and I turn off the glyph feature that is given in the device then there will be no impact on the glyph of extential notifications. I will suggest that if possible then we could integrate it like when we turn off the system glyph them the app also stops the glyph function beacuse there is no such fuction to do this within the app. And if I wish to do that I have to remove all the extential or turn on bed schedule. But if it all could be contraoled by system glyph setting then it would be great.

Is there any way that we could implement glyph autobrightness feature for phone 2 in extential notification.

Tell me your views on this.

Fr4nKB yes it does crashes in NP2 3.0 beta in both automatic composer and glyph studio..

automatic composer sometimes it’s not creating i need to close the app and restart app again.

in glyph studio its not even creating as it was in np 2.6.

maybe u can create a tutorial video in your youtube channel.

coming to the first point, my mother is staying in a different city and I need to log in to her phone and try it when I meet her.

and this is my personal email id which i use for official college work process, so i thought to make a sample ringtone and send her. i will try it later..

it could be good to give the option to select which device you are creating glyph tone maybe in an upcoming feature. IMHO

Hardik AFAIK there’s no way to connect the glyph toggle in the settings to Glyphify, the only choice would be for me to implement something similar directly in the app. I’m thinking both a toggle and a 1×1 widget.

About the autobrightness, I don’t know how Nothing made theirs: when using the Glyph interface, most of the time your device faces down so reading the ambient light sensor wouldn’t make much sense. Maybe it’s based on the hour of the day or the last value read from the sensor(?)

UKKarthik I see, I’ll have to think how to merge this into the current implementation. Of course you wouldn’t have the preview of the ringtone directly on the Glyph interface since you are creating it for a different phone model.

You mentioned you are experiencing crashes, would you be able to remain in contact with me for a short while so we can test the new fix? You can message at glyphify.help@gmail.com

Fr4nKB A toggle and a wigdet will be a good option. Looking forward for this feature.

V3 suggestion can you add bluetooth glyph

Basically the glyph indicator indicates the percentage file that has got uploaded to receiver

pixcel25 I think we won’t be looking at back while we are sending in Bluetooth, if it’s small size then we see screen, usually we prefer apps like localsend to send big files in faster data speed.. So this use case of glyph for Bluetooth file transfer will be not much helpful.. Maybe if you asked for app custom glyph for sending big files in our busy work schedule, so we can integrate with localsend or similar apps for more useful way… just took inspiration from your thought Brother..

I have the following problem. I have set an alarm for the battery to go below 20%. The problem is that even if the phone is in do not disturb mode, the alarm still sounds, which is extremely annoying. Please correct me.

Does anyone if I can use the composer to use the progressive light.

NikolaPekov Glyphify doesn’t respect DND as of right now. Maybe it’s something I could add.

muhkuhaushonolulu I hope not, that would be a huge privacy concern for something not that useful

Shubh Glyphify Studio has built-in progressive/regressive and volume-sync effects that take advantage of the progressive Glyphs
