TheElemental I’ve noticed this too, but haven’t found a workaround yet.

AgentY Well actually if you open the game you want 120 fps in you open it up and then open any app for example playstore in popup on top of the game. Boom! There you have it though it’s quite a bit annoying.
Same 2.6 we have 120 fps mlbb popup and open its gonna stay 120 fps but 3.0 it’s won’t work popup it give 120 but when full it’s was 60 justice for this
paulbabu use above method
This same issue exists with the twitch app and i have mentioned it several times but no fix yet
Have you found a fix on OS 3.00?
I like to play rhythm games (like Cytus 2 or Rotaeno) but I really hate that the game is limited to 60hz instead of the 120hz that this phone supposedly has… please release an update or something. I’ve already tried everything, even USB debugging. How is it possible that the Poco X3 Pro (a mid-range phone from 4 years ago) can run all these games at 120Hz without problems, but this phone can’t?
I found a workaround working for nos 3.0. It’s not the greatest but it’s better than nothing. Just download dynamic spot and turn on show always and for some reason when a small black circle is always displayed behind selfie camera it unlocks practically every app that I tested.
Piotr_in1ybQY4R1 okay thx it’s something. I really hope they do something about this bc it’s really annoying.
Yes, enable all of them and then go to general and enable show always and choose small circle. If it’s bigger than your selfie camera go to position and change width and height a bit. Also if the notifications will annoy you, you can turn them off by going to notifications and disabling all the apps. If you want it to work on landscape mode as well you have to turn the show in landscape mode in general but sadly it will display it in the top middle screen instead of under selfie camera.
Thanks. Set it up like you said. But for me the lag on 120hz got even more intensifying. Checked Amazon and Facebook and didn’t bother any further. The lag was really awful.
