adbo Yeah once again, thanks a lot! Your support means a lot, and I’m excited to continue developing these concepts!
Voidcaller – A Nothing-Inspired Dialer App!
Wow, I honestly wouldn’t have guessed this was a community concept! It looks so polished and professional, like something you’d expect from an official release by Nothing. I absolutely love the design! Keep up the fantastic work!
PARTH_30NWohKVli Glad you like it! Thank you for the kind words!
Vivek Bhimani good design but very similar to google dialer i don’t see much difference at all.
vovan-v Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate your perspective. While I aimed for a clean and functional design, I’m always looking for ways to innovate further. Any specific suggestions on how to differentiate it more would be greatly appreciated!

Vivek Bhimani you can look at N Dial app and get yours insperation from there. It’s also a potencial nothing dialer app with nothing design language.
vovan-v Thank you for the suggestion! I have explored the N Dial app and appreciate its design. However, I personally find the NDot fonts and dot icons can be difficult to read in various contexts. My primary goal is to create a clear and user-friendly design, so I hope you understand my perspective. While I recognize that Nothing uses dot fonts and icons for aesthetic purposes, my focus is on functionality and readability. Thank you again for your valuable feedback!
Looks amazing!! and can’t wait to use this app
You know not knocking anyone for being creative but do we really need 100 nothing dialer apps etc
Anonymous142 Haha, I get it—there’s definitely no shortage of Nothing dialer concepts! For me, though, it’s less about reinventing the wheel and more about seeing how far we can push the design language while still making something functional and fresh. Each take brings something new, and who knows—maybe one of these dialers will hit the sweet spot! Appreciate your thoughts and thanks for keeping it real!
I remember while designing N Dialer in its initial stages. Used N Dot all over the place and it was my first attempt in any App UI design. Over these months i have also learned what works and what doesnt. And we have then significantly reduced the NDot fonts in N Dial with each update. Looking at this concept reminds me alot of any other dialer out there basically in dark mode. But as Vivek mentioned already, theyre not here to reinvent the wheel. Which is highly commendable since most users want just a basic funtional dialer app. However at HBS our vision was very different since the beginning. Its coming from the old days of N900, N9, Jolla and then Nothing, brining users a completely different product that they have been used to since decades. N Dial in this regards is very different and I hope that Void Dialer also serves the best to Nothing users and community who is looking for it. Good luck to the Dialer team and we are here to support!
Ali Fakhruddin Thanks, buddy! It means a lot
Vivek Bhimani Are you working on the build?
Vivek Bhimani
Its exactly what I have in mind - NothingOS designed apps that would
replace even Google existing ones, where possible.
Would love to see cooperation that it becomes par of NOS 3.0
Fantastic work! I’ll be straight with the feedback and try to visualize it.
Slide 1: Its clean, minimalistic, but - it only has 3 colors. How it would be if the numerical font has one of nothing’s colors say for ex: the yellow we see in the special edition. also, the * can be yellow and the num pad dialer instead of grey can it be the deep blue color as seen in the blue phone 2a? the contacts font in dialer and Contacts word in list are two different fonts, can they be of same font and size?
Slide2: the quick reply text and icon size is way too small for an average user to look at it, if they can be scale up 4x for better readability. also add a Mute icon next to quick reply or both can be placed side by side to allow user to choose if they wish to mute by a simple tap, its obvious we have flip to mute but a mute option on screen next to quick reply makes sense as no other dialer does it.
Slide3: the typical dialers we see have either sliding function to answer or reject call or swipe or tap any of the icons shown in the next screen. Can we think of a new concept out of the standard behavior. Like, Text instead of Icons. A simple prompt of words on screen saying - Incoming Call with two options: Accept Call or Reject Call - just fonts and no icons. like a simple tap function instead of sliding or swiping that we all have been doing from past 2 decades.
Slide4: the white speaker icon can it be yellow just to bring more highlight?
I am looking for a Nothing dialer that should look like Nothing and not something we have already seen or been seeing from all these years in every device. Your minimalistic approach is very sharp and clean but font choice, color and text sizes and their alignments play a major impression to overall experience. What are your thoughts?
I’m glad you find the idea useful. Looking forward to view your creations.
Vivek Bhimani does this app allow glyph light on incoming calls
