Everyone here who is mad about Np2 not getting the beta needs to chill, we get it you paid the premium for your Np2, however as some have mentioned, please value the fact that np 2a users will be the forefront of testing nothing os 3.0, so I would assume the team could address issues seen first before public release and or release of beta to your devices. Kings testing the food before it is served 😔. Be grateful of this new upstart brand, who barnone is doing something that nobody else in the industry is doing, be grateful that the nothing company actually values community feedback, do not take advantage of this to berate the hardworking team at nothing, they have worked exceptionally hard to get where they are today so stand with me, in Nothing we trust 🙂

Ps and to the dude who was talking about going to pixel, I wish you the best ☠️

Got My nothing phone 2a from Flipkart today and so glad that I go a chance to test the beta version 😄 . Sorry NP2’s🙂 users.

Honestly that’s debatable, quality of materials and performance of Phone 2a and Phone 2 although similar, the snapdragon chip and build of materials really set the both apart.

Merged 1 post from Nothing OS 3.0|NP2a Beta Version(Pacman_V3.0-240923-2135).

This is bad. A flagship phone shouldn’t be treated like this

Why I couldn’t download the package from my nothing phone 2a…it shows “ download failed error ENOENT”

jayasankarandy005 yk i just don’t like how phone 2a users keep on saying that they are testing the stability of the OS… Talking about bugs and what not as if there’s one OS out there that is 100% perfect… We The phone 2 users should be mad about the updates rollout, it’s totally unfair to get these updates later. It’s not as if even if we wait till November, our open beta testing will be perfect

So many negative replies to the fact that the NP2 and 1 will receive an open BETA later than another model. Everyone who has worked in software development knows that developing for different devices with different chipsets takes some time. I see lots of people say that “they aren’t treated fair.” An open beta is not a release of new features. The goal is to get feedback on the new features and fix any bugs. The new features are mostly just cosmetic changes, it’s not like you are missing out on groundbreaking new features by not being able to update yet. Come one guys, talk about an overreaction.

DerMann254 They absolutely can, in november, when the open beta is available for your device.

I would also like to say that there are a lot of companies who don’t even do open beta’s. No input, no feedback. Nothing is an exception, be glad you get the change to check out new features earlier than release.

Greetings, I am an NP2 user, and I am not complaining about not receiving the beta update, so I prefer to update to the stable one…. which has me thinking and sad that in the views of the 3.0 update no one is talking about the characteristic letters of nothing We will lose those characteristic dot titles and letters. I don’t like that now we will lose that essence of the brand…

Matteo Riso I completely agree with you. Many people who unjustifiably complain about disadvantages here are also quick to forget that the Phone (2) is simply not the latest device. Just like the Phone (1). Neither device is currently available for sale (at least in Germany). Why should these devices get such a major new update first? Furthermore, we are not talking about several months here, but at most two months difference to the provision of a BETA version!!!! I don’t think it’s serious that such a trifle from an otherwise great company with a great innovative spirit is being taken so seriously…

I wanted to bring up a concern regarding the release of Nothing OS 3. I noticed that it has been launched for the Nothing Phone (2a) first, but not for the Nothing Phone (2), which is their flagship model.

I’m curious about the reasoning behind this decision. It feels a bit like the Nothing Phone (2) is being overlooked, and I would love to hear the community’s thoughts on this

Wow, ones life must be absolutely empty if your biggest concern is not getting a beta software update on your phone before others…
