Dear Nothing team,
I was one of the 1st set of people in India to buy the Nothing Phone 1. I was under the expectation that immaterial of future phone releases, Nothing will treat all their phones equally when it comes to OS and software upgrades. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem so. I will not be upgrading to a new Nothing Phone, but will be moving to the Pixel series. At least they do not have any stepmotherly treatment for their older models.

Woah thanks, noticed the timeline as dec 2024 for 2a+. Please do explicitly mention as this update only for 2a and not for 2a+ because there might be many like me asking the same question

Totally disappointed by nothing whole team. Np 2 is flagship device… they treated as secondary and mid range device .. shame on you Carl pie and whole nothing developer team for this decision… I think twice before buying your next product. … Shame @changename @carlpie @developer…

It’s awesome apportunity for all the users try the new experience right now, i will wait for the stable release.
Natalie is it fair to give priority to phone 2a over the flagship phone nothing phone 2. at least the timeline should be same..what’s the use of having the costliest phone in the nothing segment…even the camera widget also didn’t came for phone 2.

Carl and his mates are going back to their OnePlus roots and their preference in devices shows this. They push updates early to the device that sold the most, they deprived the nothing phone 2 of major camera updates which the other devices did get. With this level of discrimination, you’ll never reach the level Apple has achieved heck you won’t even get close to Samsung. After using a flagship phone which has almost nothing good except for decent performance along with the update/feature discrimination, this would be my last Nothing device.
Natalie thank you so much for this! I’m anxious to try it out. Will it be possible to update directly from beta to official Nothing OS 3.0 when it comes? I mean, without wiping data? I guess so but I’m asking to be safe. Thanks 
What was the problem with just saying it’s only coming out for 2a in October? And why for 1, 2a+ and cmf phone 1 beta will be released in December?
Then they ignored nothing phone 1 and now for phone 2 , really disappointed
