As we know nothing rollout Nothing 3.0 beta testing and priority goes to phone 2a (25k) device and phone 2 (54k) device get this after a month

Is that fair to give update to midrange phone first and after that give to flagship ?

Phone 2a sold more so they get update first.

I completely agree with you. I’m a proud Nothing Phone 2 user, and I expect that if I’m paying nearly twice as much, I should be the first to get access to new features and updates. I mean, how can it be that the Nothing 2a now has more features than my flagship model? i mean the beta looks still pretty af but id get this.

DerMann254 S24FE WILL HAVE the latest build. Also: S24FE has a different hardware than S24 Ultra.

      Brain usage check: ✅

FFS can we at least discuss the actual 3.0 OS. What is different and what is and is not working? Fed up of the same posts about why no updates for the 2. You’ve made your points. I want to know if it’s worth me upgrading.

Will there be more updates to fix the beta?

I’m going to hold off until I see more sensible posts about the actual OS.

hardikvadher29 same feeling brother, Nothing is nothing for phone 2 users and need to remember when purchasing new nothing product.

Matteo Riso talking about brain checks, tell me one thing does the fe have more features than the ultra phone? Or even are the updates first rolled out to the fe?

Lythik Even the camera widget and vibration intensity changer are still not available on Phone 2; such pathetic software management.

Reading comments, I think many still don’t get what “beta” means. It’s not a privilege, you’re testing unfinished software with bugs to be fixed.

Other brands like Samsung can afford to send betas to flagships first because they are confident that they have already sold tens of millions of units worldwide, so there is a large sample among which to test the software and get enough feedback.

Nothing needs to make sure that the beta reaches as many people as possible to get all the necessary feedback and polish Nothing OS 3. So, logically, it sends it to its most popular device first.

For me it works just as fine as 2.6 did.

Closed beta and alpha have done their job well.

Hello, I have the beta version. My question is, when the stable version comes out, will it update automatically

When will OS 3 reach CMF phone 1 users?

There is a question: for phones 1,2,2a,2a plus in version 3.0 will there be the same functionality or will there be something different for each?

DerMann254 pretty bold to assume that all commenting NP 2a users can’t afford the flagships. Have you considered that flagships aren’t really necessary for many (most) people? It would be a huge waste of resources to put flagships in the hands of users that just make/receive calls, use basic social networking and pay for their purchases with their phones.

It isn’t always the case of being unable to buy stuff. It’s also a question of logic and added value.

They both are 2 different channels. Both updates will send you notifications, and you can choose to install it whenever you want it.

I just fell in love with the smart app drawer in OS 3.0, it’s new experience. Guys provide lock home screen option, mis touch is changing the icons here and there.
