Phone 2 hang mode

Hey folks!!

Sometimes my nothing phone 2 Stops responding

It just stuck at one screen and nothing were working

Touches stopes working for solving this issue I have to switch off the phone

Did any one else facing the same issue? 🤔

Hey mate, sorry to hear it. How’s your storage looking? Are you running any intensive tasks/games on the device?

I’d suggest a reboot in the first instance and, then you might want to consider a backup/reset that has a tendency to iron out any bugs.

Personally I’m using Phone(1) and don’t experience any hang/lag in software.

If you genuinely believe it to be an issue after the steps above, I’d suggest submitting feedback via settings>system>feedback

Bro phone 2 has 8+gen1 and it’s designed to do so

It is a intensive task and gaming processor

12 gb ram and 512 gb storage and still getting the issues like hang in 2024 I mean it’s a worst joke bro…..

I got similarly issues since 2 days. Sometimes when I wanna wake my phone it vibrates when I use fingerprint sensor and then it leaves me with an unresponsive, black screen. After about 30 seconds the system ui appears with the message “system ui unresponsive -wait or close”

It’s a two month old nothing phone 2a

Sometimes I have to reboot the device to fix the problem, but not for long.

Don’t wanna hard reset my device yet, but will do it if the issue persists.

Device storage is nearly empty, issue persists even with all apps manually closed.

mrwhosthear oh I agree,that’s why I was trying to understand the state of your device. My Phone(1) with a Snapdragon processor which is older than the 8gen1 runs like butter. No lags, no drops.

I’d suggest contacting Nothing support via settings>system>feedback.

Man That’s something, well I’m on my Phone (2) , bought this on the 1st day launch in last year but never had any lagging issues, I’ve got dozens of app plus 10 games .

Well it depends on users Usage . Bcs mine never had any lagging issues, honestly I’m an hardcore user . Using multiple app while playing games.

Never had such a problem like:

Overheating , lagging, freezing even my phone’s battery works well ( Long lasting ) and etc.
