Ear (open) - Fit Considerations

The headphones mentioned are apparently only suitable for rather small ears with a distance of no more than 2.5 cm from the top of the ear to the middle of the ear canal.

The pictures show a normal sized man’s ear with a described distance of 4 cm.

The headphones cannot be used in this case as they rest freely above the ear canal and cannot be held in place.

I’m not sure if I agree with this one, I think I have larger than average sized ears and they fit well for me.

So far I have seen mostly men reviewing the Ear Open and only one of them more or less briefly mentioned the Open could be a bit troublesome for people with either larger or smaller than usual ears. So I am not sure how much of a problem this really is, otherwise we would’ve seen more complains regarding the size by now.

I’m a big man and I think I have relatively large ears. I just received my Ear (open) and by the first impressions I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t even consider if my ear size would matter.

I’ve been looking for comments like these as soon as I tried them. I have relatively long and big ears, nothing exceptional and they don’t fit at all. My younger sister tried them, she has smaller ears and they fitted perfectly.

Sad they only sell one size, I’m returning them

It obviously bad fit for me, and with that bass changes with volume level, so there’s too much bass at 50% volume, which gets less up to 75%, and bass completely disappear on the way from 75% to 100%

Hey, do you know how or link to bend the buds closer to the ear canal? Sounds better when i press them closer.

This is all about comfort, and also protecting your ears from damage caused by prolonged exposure to loud sounds/music. That’s why the (open) best performs at 50-60% volume.

If you’re looking for a more in ear experience I’d suggest Nothing Ear or Ear (a).

I love the product, however I have the same problem with a large distance between the center and top of the ear. Basically the speakers sit 1-2cm from the supposed central position.
