What’s up everyone! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your Nothing Ear(1)'s, I know I am!
I’d like to share a fun idea with you all that I’ve been playing around with for a few weeks and I hope with the help of everyone on here, it can gain some traction and grow into something even more fun and useful and become a legit feature in the future. I’d like to propose having a DJ mode with sound effect that can be utilized within the Nothing Ear(1) app.
I came to this idea because I was messing around with the equalizer in the app and I started having fun with it, toggling the settings, while I was listening to my favorite songs. It was a lot of fun, particularly when I was doing it with songs that I knew very well. When I knew there was a guitar solo coming up I’d press “More Treble”, when I knew there was a drum solo or when the bass was gonna hit hard I’d press “More Bass”. I was having alot of fun with that, and it really got my creative juices going, wanting more.
I’m a huge fan of Teenage Engineering and I own quit of few of their Pocket Operators. If you’ve ever use a Pocket Operator before, you’d know they have an FX button that you can toggle to add effects to whatever song or beat you’ve made. It’s quite a lot of fun and it’s a blast to use. All the fun I was having with the Ear(1) app equalizer made me wish there was more to do with this, like adding sound effects, essentially turning the app into a live pocket DJ. Imagine listening to your favorite songs and doing DJ scratches and remix sounds. Idk about you all, but that just gets me excited lol.
Test this out for yourselves with the Equalizer settings and let me know what you think. I think it would be alot of fun and could add a lot of value to the app and the Nothing Ear(1)s.
