OTT Apps shutting down frequently

Hi community,

I wanted to know if this is happening to you guys as well. App like Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix keep shutting down followed by a message saying (eg.) “Netflix isn’t responding”.

This issue is prevailing in every OTT app except for YouTube, it’s the only app which is working fine and bug free.

AmaanWasim change the app battery usage to unrestricted (apps > Netflix > app battery usage > unrestricted) and restart the phone it should works

AmaanWasim Yes I also face this problem evey time when I used OTT apps fixed this bug as early as possible

Hi mate,

Make sure your internet connection is stable and strong
I’d suggest rebooting your device
I’d suggest clearing app data for each app affected by this freezing.
Check apps / OS are up to date
Uninstall/reinstall apps to test if that fixes the issue.
Backup/reset device if nothing else works

Yes it also happened to me some time ago my all ott apps went black and were unable to play video and showing not responding messages. Although my problem is fixed right now but yes it also happened to me.
