Hey mate. So, for context, I’m in calls 7-8hrs a day. I’ve had the Ear(a), Ear 2 & Ear(open). And, like you sit in an office which is quiet.
The Ear’s do have the better mic, they’re positioned slightly closer to your mouth and, they’re slightly clearer. But, honestly there’s not lots in it.
I use and prefer the Open. They are still good mics, I sound clear and nobody has any problems understanding of hearing me.
But, beyond that, they hang over my ears, I can’t really tell they’re there and their battery life is fantastic so, I’m not putting them in the charging case until the end of the day, most of the time. I put them in at the start of the day and throughout the day switch between media/calls without thinking and they don’t tire in my ears either, they are an all day device.
I honestly think something like the Open are perfect for workers who are in calls all day.
