Nothing ear (2) call quality issues

Hi,

Have been facing call quality issues since day 1. The voice was muffled and each and every person i called complained of unclear voice.

for a day old earbuds, i mailed the support. Was given 5-7 points to check and after clarification of those things they asked to me visit the service center. i had to visit the service center and they made me sit for 5 hrs as they didn’t know what has to be done for such issues. After those long hours they finally accepted the product and applied for a replacement.

Now, Replacement product is also not performing as claimed.

I tried calling as well as recording my voice using the ear 2 in multiple environments. I have the samples of those where it feels i am just mumbling random things.

In a day approximately 3hrs i use my earphones for calls and it is mostly the same set of people. Again while using the replacement they complained of muffled voice and i put up a mail in support. Its been a month purchasing the ear 2 and i havent used it for 1 full day. The support people are least bothered. There is no escalation matrix. No one to listen to complains or talk about the issues.

Its a mistake to have purchased a product worth ₹9k, which is not backed up by any service or assurance of quality.

kindly help me escalate the matter and get it to the right ears and find a resolution for me.

Whenever I’m on a call the person at the other end always complain on how the quality of the sound is bad from my end, they are unable to hear anything that I am saying, it works fine when I am in a closed environment like when I am in my queit room and take work calls, I have not heard any complains but the moment I have some environmental sounds around me, like when I am walking and talking the other person couldn’t hear me properly at all.

Can anyone help me understand if it’s the general issue with the Ear (2) or is it something specifically wrong with my device

With the earphone with such premium pricing, I don’t feel it should have such poor calling quality

Hi All

I bought these last year primarily for work-related calls and I work from coffee shops a lot - i didn’t buy them for music at all because I have my Jabra Active Elite 75t (also terrible for calls in louder places), which i use for the gym. I did so much research last year on YouTube, including call audio tests done by several different YouTubers, including in quiet and loud environment places. The Nothing Ear 2 really were “proven” to be the best bang for buck, especially in loud and busy places, they sounded impressive.

But unfortunately, they perform terribly in loud places. People can’t seem to hear me at all in busy places, so much background noise gets picked up and my voice is like a blur, with the odd words getting picked up.

i’ve read other posts like this but I’m afraid firmware updates and settings adjustments seem to be template pieces of advice that don’t fix the problem. Correct me if im wrong.

I’m now thinking what to do because I’m just going to scrap these if there isn’t a solution here (can I return them after a few months of buying?), and I’m ready to fork out good money for a pair that are gonna give me the crispness I need for important work calls I make on a daily basis. I had high hopes from this brand especially with the reviews i watched - I’m ready to walk away from this brand.
